Stir-fry Julienne Carrot with Miso

About the Ingredients

A traditional nutritional Farmer’s Menu made for modern living.  We recommend the naturally-fermented Ehime Moribun miso to bring out the flavor; you may choose your taste preference with either type of Miso:

Miso (Mugi = Barley)

Miso (Awase = Rice & Barley Blend)

Serves 2

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 carrots
  • 1 tsp miso
  • 1 tsp hot water
  • 2 tsp Sesame oil
  • Sesame seeds
  • Crushed walnut

COOKING METHOD

  1. Julienne the carrots
  2. Mix the miso and hot water together till even, and add sesame oil
  3. Mix the carrots inti the mixture
  4. Sprinkle with black sesame seeds and sprinkle  crushed walnut before serving.
